Dias comes from a family of musicians rich in tradition and has been playing the piano since the age of 6. He received his first training in Ufa, Russia as a classical concert pianist. Afterwards he received his diploma as a jazz pianist at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar, Germany. His concerts often feature jazz paraphrases and classical crossover, where he performs as a composer as well as an arranger, interpreter, and performer.
