My teaching approach: The best sign indicating your progress is that you are enjoying your online bass lessons: We will play together, talk about your goals and integrate your preferences in a professional bass curriculum. I teach electric bass guitar and acoustic bass. Challenging topics are broken down onto small details - this way even difficult pieces of music become easy when learning how to play bass. Playing songs, chord charts and sheet music is all part of my bass lessons. I have a specific set of fun and musical exercises for each topic. This way you will be motivated to make progress!
About Hedi: Hedi discovered his passion to play bass at an early age. He is stylistically rooted in Jazz and Funk music, but has experience in playing Rock and Pop live as well as in the studio. Hedi played on international music festivals and currently lives and works from Berlin.
My teaching approach: It does not matter if you are young or veteran, a complete beginner or an advanced music student. In our first lesson we will start to work on your favorite music! You choose the music and I'll help you to play it. Based on the music you love I'll give you tailored technique-, rhythm-, ear training- and theory-exercises in order to accomplish your musical goals as soon as possible. Moreover I'll teach how to comp and improvise in many musical genres and of course all the basics in music. I am looking forward to meeting you in the cloud.
About Peter: Peter Nitsch is a German / Hungarian born musician (electric and double bass) and music coach. Peter holds two Bachelors and one Master’s degree from some of the finest Conservatories in Europe and the USA (Conservatory of Amsterdam, NL, Nuremberg University of Music, DE and Manhattan School of Music, NY, USA). After a very active career as a musician in Germany and Amsterdam, he lived in New York for two years and five years in Sao Paulo (Brazil), he is back in Europe and is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Peter has a versatile playing, which embeds his multicultural background combined with his formal studies and private researches. His curiosity and broad international experience unleash flexibility and sensitivity on the way he approaches music. Over the past 20 years, Peter has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists, appeared in TV shows and performed in several worldwide Festivals.
